Growing up K through 12, One was clowned on by friends, and frowned upon by family if you spent your Summer learning. Aka Summer School. I thought it would be a different scenario taking Summer school in college, but boy was I soooo wrong. Deciding to take summer was probably the worst decision/experience I have ever had deal with. It wasn’t because the school work was hard or the fact that it’s the Summer and I’m going to school. I just let my emotions get the best of me, and I am now in danger of getting my first “C” ever!!…FAIL. Thanks to some great friends, Genetics lab was probably the easiest class I have ever taken. What did I learn? Ummm how to get diabetes by eating too many M&M’s and uhhh absolutely nothing! Thanks Siddiq.  On the other hand, Anatomy, was pretty difficult, but I appreciate Mr. Freedman as my professor. He taught me many things, but one that I will never forget. I learned that the worst heart condition an individual can experience is, a broken one. Primary cause: The opposite sex…. Hahaha jk! WOW! What a semester. In life, you take many chances everyday to improve ones well-being. Drake said it best, “I took a chance with my heart.”  I have no regrets, my head is held way high, and I’m always looking forward. But sometimes, I keep asking myself, “What if I didn’t take Summer school, would it be any different?”  I had a lot of fun and wish it could have gone further. It was sincerely the best time of my life, and I’m almost positive that no one smiled harder than I did. For that wonderful experience, I thank you.
